In Short

My Story

From military duty to transformation:
What began with duty rosters in the German Air Force became a passion for structure, responsibility, and change.
Today, I support companies as an interim manager where accounting meets ERP systems – always with a view of the bigger picture and a commitment to: “Stay human.”

My Path – From Soldier to Entrepreneur

  • Guard Duty

As a Staff Sergeant for Administration in the German Air Force, I was tasked every quarter with supervising new recruits and assigning the unpopular guard duties – an unenviable job, which I handled following my grandfather’s advice:
“No matter what position you reach in life – whether supervisor or team member – the most important thing is: always stay human.”

  • Accounting

After my military service, training, and further education, I began my career in accounting in 1994.
In the early years, I worked in mid-sized companies – with a strong operational focus and early exposure to ERP systems like Oracle.
I learned how processes can break down when systems don’t communicate. Looking back, I now realise: this is when my area of specialisation was born.

  • International Corporations

From 2005, I moved into international corporate environments. This included financial reporting under HGB and US GAAP, ERP migrations, and outsourcing projects to India, Romania, and Bulgaria.
I took responsibility for teams, served as a contact for auditors, and realised: technical expertise is essential – but transformation only succeeds with trust, clarity, and communication.

  • Certified Accountant

In 2013, I completed my IHK qualification as a certified accountant – not for the title, but as a deliberate step towards greater responsibility.
One year later, I launched my journey as a self-employed interim manager.
